The Town of
Onondaga Historical Society is a non profit
organization chartered by the State of New York. We have
collections of burials records for our Town cemeteries, a
photo collection, newspaper articles relating to town
residents, census records, County Poorhouse records and much
more. We offer a newsletter for our members and we have
monthly meetings with guest speakers.
The mission of the Town of
Onondaga Historical Society is:
To promote and encourage original historical research.
To facilitate better knowledge and awareness of the history
of the Town of Onondaga and the State of New York.
To gather, preserve, interpret, display and make available
for study artifacts, documents, photographs and other
historical records.
To foster the preservation of important sites and structures
and to assume custody in special instances by purchase or
gift.
